The Denver Broncos head to Cincinnati after missing an opportunity to clinch a playoff spot last week blowing a lead and losing to the LA Chargers 34-27. They have a second chance today.
The Bengals beat a struggling Cleveland team 24-6 last week and will need to win today, win next week, and have some help from some other teams to make a playoff appearance this season. With that being said, Joe Burrow and this Bengals offense is having one of their best seasons. Leading the league in a few different passing categories.
The Denver defense however, has been exceptional this year. They've been great in shutting down opponents run game, as well as the pass. They currently lead the NFL in sacks and will be looking to haunt Joe Burrow consistently today, producing 8 interceptions in the last 4 games. In my opinion, CB Patrick Surtain will show today that he has what it takes to keep WR Ja'marr Chase from causing too much damage and keep them in this game.
Meanwhile, the Denver offense has averaged 33.2 points over the last 5 games and I expect them to to find success against the low ranked defense in Cincinnati.
This Bronco team has been undervalued all year, and we've cashed on them a couple times as favorites. I think they have a real chance of winning outright today, but when I see that key number of 3 moving to 3.5 I have to take the points risking 2 units.
