The Arizona Diamondbacks face the Pittsburgh Pirates in game 3 of their series in Pittsburgh today. First pitch is at 1:35pm.
Paul Skenes is on the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a 5 win and 8 loss record this season but that is not indicative of his pitching. For whatever reason this Pittsburgh Pirate's team just does not give this man any run support. He's been pitching great, regardless of what that record is.
On the mound for Arizona is Zac Gallen who has struggled in his last two starts giving up 12 earned runs in 11 innings.

5 of 6 Paul Skenes starts at home have gone under. Not just the fact that he has such a low ERA, but that Pittsburgh just does not give him any run support.
The Diamondbacks have managed to score one run in the past two games at Pittsburgh. I don't expect them to get the bats going today against Skenes.
The Pittsburgh poor bullpen is always a concern when playing unders, but I think Skenes will go at least 6 to 7 innings today with no problems against Arizona.
I mentioned earlier how Zac Gallen has been given up runs in his last few games. That's a concern as well, but this Pittsburgh offense has been fairly quiet lately. I think we see a 3-2 or 4-1 type game.
Take the under. There are 7.5's out there probably because the wind is blowing straight out at 9 mph at game time, but the expected rain coming down on two cold offenses should nullify that.
